Before entering the industry a decade ago, Heather spent 20 years as an elementary school teacher in California and Fort Lauderdale. She still credits the classroom for shaping how she works today: with patience, preparation and an ability to make complicated information easier to understand. Whether guiding a first-time buyer, advising a seller or evaluating an investment opportunity, Heather wants her clients to feel informed, confident and secure in every decision.

Her real estate experience now spans three distinct coastal markets. From her home on Johns Island, Heather advises buyers and sellers with SeaGlass South Carolina, where she has developed extensive knowledge of Johns Island, the greater Charleston and Lowcountry market, and Berkeley Hall in Bluffton. She also serves as a Real Estate Broker Associate with Flagler Duval in Fort Lauderdale. Now, as a Real Estate Advisor | Investments with the SumnerBaird | SeaGlass, Wilmington office, she is expanding that experience into Coastal North Carolina.

What truly distinguishes Heather is that she has built from the ground up not simply represented the finished product.

Since 2022, she has invested in and delivered eight ground-up residential units in Fort Lauderdale. Her projects include a two-story, four-unit garden apartment building and four approximately 2,500-square-foot luxury townhomes in Tarpon River, each featuring three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a private pool and elevated finishes.

Heather has personally navigated permitting, budgets, construction timelines and finish selections. That firsthand experience allows her to advise builders, investors and new-construction buyers as someone who has sat on their side of the table and understands both the opportunity and the risk involved.

Integrity is central to Heather’s approach. She follows through, communicates honestly and knows when to bring the right professional into the conversation. Her goal is not simply to complete a transaction, but to help each client make a decision that supports where they want to go next.

Outside of real estate, Heather operates a personal training and nutrition-coaching practice from her home gym. For her, the connection between health and homes is clear: meaningful results come from consistency, honesty and a willingness to do the hard parts well.
